The National Careers Service are hosting an Apprenticeships event at Peterlee Leisure Centre, tomorrow, Wednesday 7 March 1am to 2pm. There will be a wide range of training providers including Siemens, Civil Service, East Durham College, Start Energy, Groundworks, Penshaw Training and lots more.

This is a great way to learn more about taking a higher level apprenticeship after college, an ideal alternative to the traditional route of going to university.

Bring along your parents and have a discussion about where higher apprenticeships can take you!

At the event, you can find out more about:

What apprenticeships are
What are the different levels
How do these apprenticeships compare to full time university
What will an apprentice earn

You'll also be able to hear from a higher degree apprentice who will be attending the event.
